So 2013 is here! To reflect over the past year, I can start by our successful series of offers each week. This year, in addition to our standard website and newsletter special offers, we introduced some Facebook-exclusive deals including super-popular offers on some our best-loved web hosting.

We’ve also been busy keeping our products up to date. One service we upgraded was our webmail – one which is used by a majority of our customers.
We upgraded to Plesk 11 – the very latest version of one of the most comprehensive control panels on the market. Virtual Private Servers are perfect if you need the functionality of a dedicated server but aren’t quite ready for the price tag. You get root access (so you’ll need to know your way around server administration) and the freedom to install software and manage your VPS through one of our choice of control panels.

We upgraded our goMobi mobile website builder with added functions at the end of October. Improvements included:
- the ability to add Google site verification code,
- the ability to insert YouTube videos,
- PayPal and Google Checkout buttons
- improvements to opening hours features
- better image handling
Our premium domain names service was launched which gives you access to popular, memorable domain names that have been previously registered but which are now being sold on by their current owners.
Additionally, our Domain Transfer Service that was launched is an easy alternative if you wanted to transfer over to us. All you need to do is give us a list of the domains you’d like to transfer to us, let us know some basic info that will help us transfer them and we will do the rest for you!
We also introduced registering .uk domain names from 1 year up to ten years! This used to only available for a minimum of two years, but 2012 was the start of something new for our bestselling .uk domain names. This is great if you want to make sure you hang onto a valuable domain.
The products listed above are a small insight as to what was happening with our products. If you cannot tell, the end of 2012 was all about expansion – it saw Daily HQ taking on new staff across the business, and working hard on some exciting forthcoming projects. So, 2013 looks to be a great year – watch this space!
